I made one of these a few months back and figured I would share with you how I did it and show you my new ones! Need to figure out where to put them now in our new house!! (Sorry for no pictures with the tutorial! I got a bit carried away and forgot to take pictures with the progress! Slowly learning things here!)
Need:
- Ribbon
- Fabric
- Cardboard
- Batting
- Glue gun
- Scissors
- Start by cutting the cardboard to the size you would like. I made mine about in. by in.
- Cut out batting to fit over cardboard.
- Cut out fabric to fit over cardboard and batting.
- Start by gluing all the batting down on the back.
- When finished with gluing batting down, glue the fabric down over it.
- Take the ribbon and cut into strips to make as many X on it as you would like.
- Glue these down over the fabric as tightly as you can get them.
- Hang up on wall and add your pictures! You should be able to just lay them in there or if you rather, pin them up too! You can also add other things you would like, like buttons to the ribbons! Have fun with it!
