Picture Board

I made one of these a few months back and figured I would share with you how I did it and show you my new ones! Need to figure out where to put them now in our new house!! (Sorry for no pictures with the tutorial! I got a bit carried away and forgot to take pictures with the progress! Slowly learning things here!)

Need:
  • Ribbon
  • Fabric
  • Cardboard
  • Batting
  • Glue gun
  • Scissors

  1. Start by cutting the cardboard to the size you would like. I made mine about in. by in.
  2. Cut out batting to fit over cardboard.
  3. Cut out fabric to fit over cardboard and batting.
  4. Start by gluing all the batting down on the back.
  5. When finished with gluing batting down, glue the fabric down over it.
  6. Take the ribbon and cut into strips to make as many X on it as you would like.
  7. Glue these down over the fabric as tightly as you can get them.
  8. Hang up on wall and add your pictures! You should be able to just lay them in there or if you rather, pin them up too! You can also add other things you would like, like buttons to the ribbons! Have fun with it!

Wow, too long!

It has been too long since I updated this site! I am going to try doing more so that I can first be able to share projects with you and second so I can get some "mommy" time! Be on the lookout for my next post sometime today!

Tutus

For some strange reason, I had an urge to be creative and make a tutu! It took a bit of time, but I'm proud of what I did! I'm trying to figure out if I could sell them or not if I made them but I don't know if it will happen or not. At least I know that Miley will have tutus! Let me know your thoughts!!!

First Post

I decided to start a blogspot since it seems that a lot of people have :) And also that way I have a place to put all my "creative" stuff for people to look at. I've decided I need to try and do a couple of projects a week to keep myself from going insane during "nap" time if I don't take a nap. I have recently purchased a Cricut and let me tell you, I am all pumped for all the things I can make now!!! Here are some pictures of what I made just yesterday:
